today is my last day house/kitty sitting for my "aunt & uncle". they have a beautiful house and i took advantage of their awesome kitchen last night by making a brand-new dish from Rachael Ray, "Lasagna Casserole". [brand new for me, not for her]. i'd say it turned out pretty good [though took a while]. josh, rach & bri came over for dinner, then we cranked up the surround sound and put on the almost-movie-screen-sized telly and watched Star Wars: A New Hope. must say - quite good on that screen.

so far it's beautiful this morning. blue, sunny skies, a great breeze and not too chilly.
