fabric friday: 2-18-11

today's Fabric Friday is showcasing one of my favorite Knoll fabrics. i pretty much decided i loved this fabric, called Biota, when i saw it on this gorgeous Saarinen chair when the fabric came out in 2009. Biota is woven with 100% recycled polyester and designed by Suzanne Tick.

i love the look of this fabric - especially in the lighter colors. it's feminine and playful, modern yet not too risky. i envision this on a similar chair in my house some day, pulled up next to an antique white table desk with bright red flowers in a vase sitting nicely on top.
